Dallas Theological Seminary
My wife and I received our Master’s of Theology from Dallas Theological Seminary (DTS) in 2010. My degree concentration was in Pastoral Ministries with an emphasis in Media and Communications. Malia concentrated in Systematic Theology.
While studying at DTS, we learned the importance of accurately handling God’s Word. DTS taught us all 66 books of the Bible. We were trained in biblical Greek and Hebrew. We learned how to exposit the Bible with the goal of understanding the author’s original intended meaning.
University of California, Los Angeles
I received my Bachelor’s of Arts in Political Science from the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA) in 2001. During this program, I enjoyed a special study in Washington DC program. This experience provided me with an appreciation for our country’s government and history.
After graduating, I moved to Washington DC and worked for the United States House of Representatives. This experience gave me an insider’s view into how our government works. I have many fond memories, one of which is sitting in the Speaker of the House’s chair during a tour of the Capitol!
